Long Beach

The place that surprised me most in Los Angeles. Not that it is a wonder of nature, but there is a lot of action and movement at night and is the place to go for dinner near the ocean. There is good atmosphere, good restaurants and live music. It's a great place to have a drink. Although it is outside of Los Angeles, like any other place.

Aside from maybe going fishing, visiting the Queen Mary, or going downtown to check out the little shops, cafes, and restaurants.
