Bustling

This museum is strategically located in one corner of bustling Covent Garden Piazza. Designed for the kids / but people of all ages as well, so be prepared for "noise". In fact the museum relies heavily on elements that can be experienced through touch, sight, hearing, smell, etc. which attracts many children to the games, centred around a rendition of transport in London. The museum looks at the evolution of public transport in the city of Greater London since the nineteenth century to the present day, and even taking a look at what the future holds possibly in regard to the movement of people in large cities.

I would highlight a couple of items, on the one hand the first subway cars and commuter trains for their evidential value, a little sentimental that transports you to another time when confidence in the technology permeated the thinking of the time. On the other hand, the museum shop where they sell all kinds of merchandise of the London Underground from posters to bags with subway maps on them or upholstered furniture fabrics used in subway seats.
