5 reviews of Lombardi's Pizza

Lombardi's Pizza

Lombardi's pizzeria is one of the most famous in New York and first of all that was open in the big city back in 1905, as a plaque on the facade so certifies. It is located north of the small neighborhood of Little Italy, close to China Town. It is located in 32 Spring Street (and Mott). It is not a big restaurant and its menu shows little variation, only pizzas, calzones and some salads. But, of course, the quality is amazing. Pizzas come in two sizes, six or eight servings, and more ingredients can be added. There are also some ready-made ones. As for the calzones, the signature dish in my opinion, these are quite large and can be filled with numerous "toppings".

They all have tomato sauce and other dippings. More or less, it amounts to about 25 euros per person, plus tips. In terms of language, the waiters speak Spanish, so do not worry. The restaurant's quality has not gone unnoticed and it has been mentioned in many newspapers and magazines. Occassionally, it has also appeared in television. Throughout the restaurant there are photos of the owner and the odd personality that drops by occasionally. A good option for lunch if you are in that area.
