A sanctuary for birds
Loch Garten is a freshwater lake located in the Cairngorms National Park in the north of Scotland, a hundred kilometers west of Aberdeen. This wild loch is a nature reserve that is managed by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. Indeed, this body of water is a nesting place for many birds including the famous ospreys but also crested tits and finches. Loch Garten is therefore a paradise for bird watchers and nature lovers, and you can enjoy the many trails and viewpoints.
