Second Half of the Castle
Loch Alsh is another lake that bathes the shores where the Eilean Donan Castle is. It's a salt water lake because it's formed by an inlet, in a place where there is the famous bridge to the island of Skye. On sunny days and calm waters are famous for being a complete mirror of the landscape that surrounds its over 12 kilometers of contour. This area was inhabited by the Picts in the 6th century, which makes it an area that's rich in archaeological finds, but many of which have yet to be discovered. The water gives the aforementioned castle much of his majesty, because as I said, these act as a mirror that double the impressive image of this construction.
