Lizards and Tarantulas in the Jarillas

The Jarillas is a small place with a population of only 13 homes located in the northwest of the Province of Cordoba, Argentina. It is a desert area, where there is very little rain, and because of this the land is so dry and brittle,that not grassland or vegetation can grow. On a hot day you can see lizards crossing the road and if you camp you will also come across many of them. You may also see tarantulas, but very different from those living in hot and humid areas, these are "more colorful with velvety colors" instead, the others in the area I'm talking about are black and hairless. They say
