Lincoln Park Zoo
While there are 4 zoos in the Chicago this is the only hotel within the city limits, particularly on the grounds of Lincoln Park, in the north of the city. It is a nonprofit institution that thrives on donations and volunteers. It houses almost 1,250 animals in about ten acres of land. The facilities are not comparable to those of other zoos in the United States, but bear in mind that admission is free ... It is a traditional park except for the shows which usually take place in modern facilities. Still, it is a good level zoo, especially the area dedicated to the great apes. In addition, there are two spaces for children: The Pritzker Family Children's Zoo, within the same enclosure, and Farm-in-the-Zoo, located elsewhere, further south, but also within the Lincoln Park.
