Lillas Pastia Restaurant

Tras haber estado un par de días en el Somontano nuestro primer objetivo en Huesca era visitar este restaurante. Tras hablar con el camarero nos decantamos por el menú corto para poder picar algo por la noche ese día.

After having spent a couple of days in the Somontano, our first goal in Huesca was to visit this restaurant. After talking with the waiter, we opted for the short menu to be able to snack at night that day.

El restaurante abre sus puertas para los amantes de la cocina española de calidad. Aquí los chefs especializados utilizan los ingredientes más frescos del mercado y sorprenderán a los invitados con la gran variedad de aceites que le dan un toque especial a las comidas. Estos son algunos de los aderezos más originales de la zona: el aceite de jamón en el hongo de patata trufado o el aceite de avellana, entre otras especialidades. La Taberna de Lillas Pastia abrió sus puertas el 9 de agosto de 1995, de la mano de su cocinero y gestor, Carmelo Bosque, este restaurant se caraceriza por su constante evolución y las señas de identidad que desea distingan su cocina. Entre sus mas deliciosos platos encontramos: ROJO, ROJO (TOMATE, FRESAS Y ROSAS)GUARDIA CIVIL CON PERAS ESCALIBADAS, CONSOME DE PEPINO Y ENSALADA DE PARMESANOOSTRA CON MELOCOTON, ALMENDRICOS Y ALBAHACABORRAJAS, PATATA CHAFADA AL AZAFRAN, MANGO, ROCA DE SESAMO TOSTADO Y TORREZNOREVUELTO DE TOMATE CON LASCAS DE JAMON Y ALBAHACABACALAO CON TOFFE DE CEBOLLA Y AZAFRAN Y MIGAS DE ACEITUNA NEGRAPALETILLA DE CORDERO, SALSIFIS Y CERVEZA NEGRAPEPINO, LIMON, MELON, JENGIBRE Y YOGURTBROWNIE DE CAFÉ, NARANJA, CURRY Y CREMA DE CHOCOLATE BLANCO Ubicado en unas de las alas del antiguo casino este restaurante le ofrece propuestas diferentes. Un menú de degustaciones y otro en el que se destacan los aceites para aderezar los platillos. Posee carta de vinos con varias opciones.

The restaurant opens its doors to lovers of quality Spanish cuisine. Here specialized chefs use the freshest ingredients from the market and surprise guests with a wide variety of oils that give a special touch to meals. These are some of the most original dressings near oil ham truffled potato fungus or hazelnut oil, among other specialties.

Entré un domingo para tomar el vermú y probamos las patatas bravas. Se dice que es donde más buenas las haven de Huesca, aunque es bastante caro por las poquitas que traen.

It is the casino restaurant, in Plaza Navarra. I went on a Sunday to take the vermouth and tried the patatas bravas. It is said that it is where the best haven of Huesca, although it is quite expensive for the little they bring.
