Li Thi Miew Temple

En el barrio chino de Bangkok encontramos uno de los templos mas grandes y emblemáticos de esta cultura. Hablamos del Li thi Miew Temple. Como en la mayoría de estos santuarios, en su techo exterior encontramos dos dragones enfrentandos jugando con una perla. Este templo es el santuario de la diosa Kuan Ou como casi todos los templos de origen chino. La calle Plabplachai esta cercana a la calle Yaowarat que es la primera y mas importante del barrio chino desde su fundación. Este templo tiene unas escalinatas hacia el interior del templo el cual está abierto al exterior sin muros ni puertas y sus habitantes acuden a este lugar de forma asidua y por fin tranquila en un barrio que antaño, al finalizar la 2 guerra mundial tuvo sus mas y sus menos con el gobierno siamés. Hoy día sus habitantes pueden vivir en paz en este país que les brinda la oportunidad como en muchas otras ciudades importantes del mundo de formar su comunidad con sus tradiciones y cultura intactas.
