ANADEL
Next to the wall
This ancient castle, or rather palace, is situated at one end of the walls of Vannes, and it can be easily missed if you enter the walled medieval city via one of the gates. It was the residence of the Dukes of Brittany between the fourteenth and sixteenth centuries, and was then converted into a luxury hotel, but its history goes back to medieval times, when Duke John IV decided to expand it closer to the port. This place, with the old washing place, caught my attention in a special way.
