Antico borgo marinaro della Riviera di Levante, Levanto è diventata un grazioso centro turistico balneare. Con le sue ville signorili, tra cui spicca quella della famiglia Agnelli e il golfo incorniciato dai monti, si respira l’atmosfera giusta per una vacanza rilassante, all’insegna della tranquillità. Dal molo di Levanto è possibile imbarcarsi su un battello che nell’arco della giornata approda alle Cinque terre, offrendo bellissimi scorci marittimi. Ma se proprio soffrite il mal di mare, c’è sempre la possibilità di prendere il “famoso” trenino!

Pier Levanto, you can embark on a boat during the day arrives to the Cinque Terre, offering beautiful views of sea. Levanto apparaît comme une station balnéaire de la côte ligure. J'y suis allé car elle est située à l'une des extrémités de la ligne ferroviaire qui dessert le Parc National des Cinque Terre. Bord de mer agréable avec villas cossues. La ville présente quelques restes médiévaux dont une remarquable loggia où se traitait le commerce maritime. Ses colonnes sont en serpentine. Dans le centre ancien, beaucoup de maisons présentent des façades peintes de fresques en trompe-l'oeil.

Levanto appears as a seaside resort on the Ligurian coast. I went there because it is located at one end of the rail line serving the National Park of Cinque Terre. Edge pleasant sea with opulent villas. The city has some medieval remains including a remarkable loggia where dealing maritime trade. Its columns are serpentine. In the old center, many houses have facades painted trompe-l'oeil.

Muy tranquilo y acogedor. Y lo mejor: que puede acceder desde allí a Cinque Terre. Inolvidable. Pasamos parte de nuestra luna de miel en noviembre de 2014. Siempre recordamos Levanto como una ciudad muy especial. El hotel de un gringo exquisito. En fin, recomendable 100%.
