Leucade Island

L'isola di Leucade si trova sulla costa ionica della Grecia settentrionale ed è l'unica ad essere raggiungibile via terra grazie al collegamento con un ponte mobile. A renderla un luogo di interesse turistico, soprattutto tra la gente locale, non è chiaramente questo ma l'adiacente baia di Vassiliki, dove le condizioni favorevoli del vento permettono la pratica del surf e del windsurf. Da visitare anche il porticciolo turistico, vicino al quale ci sono diverse taverne tipiche.

The island of Lefkada is located on the Ionian coast of northern Greece and is the only one to be reached by land through connection with a movable bridge.
