In the heart of the beautiful medieval town of Chauvigny and housed in a beautiful Renaissance-style building dating back to the fifteenth century we find the quaint, charming and attractive restaurant "Les choucas". It is a "rare bird" and that the premises constitute the sole survivor of the old taverns that once proliferated in this area of the city. In "The Rooks",-literal translation of Les choucas-exudes the charm of a noble building with years of history and surely filled with stories - if the old walls could speak- endearing as it would be. On the lower floor dining intense reds match perfectly with the black ebony furniture and the bare and worn stones of arches and stairways.
