Small delicacies
Esparraguera restaurant was the place where I ate calçots, a type of onion eaten roasted with romesco sauce. They serve it on tiles, peeled, dipped in sauce and popped in the mouth. A small delight that I have wanted to repeat. Apart from the calçots, they serve meats, grilled vegetables, snails, and daily menus weekdays from €10.10. It's near the entrance of the Natural Park of Montaña de Montserrat and 30km from Barcelona.
