If you like mussels this is paradise. Over 10 different ways to cook them, in white wine, curry, and sausage, with bacon, cream, tarragon etc. And of course the star dish, mussels with grilled shrimp, calamari and a delicious sauce, all accompanied with a bowl of white rice. Delicious. Although the first Leon restaurant had its birth in Brussels in the year 1893 with Léon Vanlancker cook's hand, in July of the year 1989, his heir Rudy established the first restaurant in France specifically in Paris at the Place de la Republique. It Currently has over 50 restaurants scattered throughout France and its own mussel farm.
