Lenti

Lenti is a town near the Hungarian border with Slovenia - they are barely five miles apart. During our stay, in Nemesnép was our main point. It is a small but beautiful and flowered city with various figures made of flowers which adorn the streets. It is known for its hot springs. Just outside the city there is a large area in which there are six pools of different sizes, depth and temperature - great for those who wish to have a spa treatment or just have a picnic. Also there are small shops where you can by snacks, drinks and a delicious dessert of chocolate. If you do not fancy this there is the option of two restaurants.

There are no photographs to be taken in the swimming pool, in order to the respect the privacy of customers, which incidentally are plentiful. However what caught my attention was an old cemetery with no fences in the center of the city located in a splendid garden. Perhaps one of the things that caught our attention when travelling to this city was watching the exit or entrance to villages we passed through a small wooden buildings and towers, within which there were benches and a cross outside. Over time we learned that the bells had these constructions in order to call a neighbours meeting or to warn if there was some misfortune. It was a great experience.
