Plaza de Santiago
This square is in the southern part of the city and is named after the main building, the Seminary of Santiago, part of which houses the Pius XII Museum (archeology and sacred art). This forms a "U" shape in the center of the square. There's also a medieval tower from the ancient wall which houses the city's History Museum. In the center of the square is a granite ornamental fountain with a square base, composed of a pyramidal column and topped with a cross. Opposite the entrance to the Pius XII Museum is a Monument to Bracara Augusta.
