The house of Obispo
Behind the mythical Dunblane Cathedral is one of the structures, in the back of the cathedral, and historic flagship of the people, the house of Leighton. Bishop Leighton was the most significant person in Dunblane church history and one of the most significant in Scotland of his time, and so it was moved to Glasgow. The Leighton Library, a private collection of writings was founded in the town between the years 1684 and 1688. Scholars who want to work or do research there, need a special permit, that a high percentage of denied, due to the importance of the library. Today, the house can be seen on the outside, the cathedral and the diocese is used for elderly or troubed people, as well as a homeless shelter.
Outwardly it is intact and represents a housing of the most relevant people. It costs nothing if you're on the site, seeing the cathedral, a walk around it and see this historic home. It is not far away in the street is where we can find parking better. The Leighton Library in Dunblane was constructed Between the years 1684 and 1688 to house over 1400 books by the Bishop of Dunblane (1661-1670) and Glasgow (1670-1674).
