Very convenient for the station
Le TGV restaurant-cafe is in front of Bordeaux train station. It's a place without much charm, but is very convenient for the station. it is open every day, and is also open at night when most neighborhood bars are closed. For about 20 euros you can eat a full lunch with dessert and a drink. The menu is similar to most French cafes of this type, sandwiches and fast food, nothing special. You pay for the convenience and it's a bit more expensive and of lesser quality than the restaurants downtown. Upstairs there's a hotel if you need to stay.
