Le Pain Quotidien in Notting Hill
I know it's a chain, but it's right outside of the Notting Hill tube station and I couldn't resist. It was your typical rainy cold London day and the cozy, warm interior was calling me! It was a great choice. We got a soup, hummus, a good beer, some tea, and dessert. My companion ordered a delicious steak and mushroom pie that he said was very tasty. A tad more expensive than I expected, though. €51.00 for two people.
