A natural curiosity
The Great Salt Lake is about thirty kilometers from Salt Lake City, the capital of Utah. Its size varies depending on the rains, but on average, it is about 4,400 km2. The photos below show the western side of the lake, which consists of a vast plain of salt, so hard that you can walk on it without problem. This place is known for being an area where test vehicles try to break speed records.
