The Lille Music Academy was founded in 1803, but in 1970 when it became the Regional National Conservatory, 36 years before the current Conservatory of Lille. Inside there is a library that houses more than 40,000 books on music and culture, art practice rooms, dance studios and a theatre. Why this place? Check ahead of time to see when you can go to see the works of some of the orchestra students in the auditorium which has 400 seats.
