Lazy Leopard Thai Cafe

Since the indefinite closure of Singapore Grill in New London I've been in search of a replacement that serves equally as delicious Asian food. The Lazy Leopard came highly recommended from friends and from sites like TripAdvisor. Located right in the heart of downtown New London, I just had to give it a try. Unfortunately, I don't feel that it lived up to the hype. I ordered a lunch special that included a Thai soup and the chicken and vegetable rice dish called Basil. Both were overly salted yet bland in other flavors that you'd expect of Thai food. In contrast to my opinion, almost every table in the small restaurant was full (on a weekday).
