The Washing of Cefalù

The old town of Cefalu is full of amazing places that take you back in time and leave you without words. One that impressed me most was the Lavatory. It is a 16th-century laundry that is hidden in a corner of the Via Vittorio Emanuele. If you do not know you can go down the street without stopping in this corner because it is hidden. It is in a courtyard of a house but the door is always open. When you go inside you realize that it is an incredible place, the first thing you find are some lovely tiles as you go deeper into the laundry. The laundry room is in perfect condition and is on a spring that was very important in ancient times.
