This was the greatest week of my life. I visited some wonderful places, but none quite as magical as this. If you are looking for something quiet, completely apart from the world, noise, and night lights and which has a sky so full of stars, this is the place for you. The garden is a real surreal journey, even more so if you visit during the rainy season. Note: It is said that at Easter the place is full of hippies, there are never-ending parties with alcohol and drugs.
If you leave Mexico City it is recommended that you take the highway to Queretaro, bypass to San Luis Potosi, Green River and you stay at the Ciudad Valles. From the latter you can visit various places around. There are several hotels or hostels that offer good price good service. People living in the Huasteca region, February to June recommend to visit these places, as it is the best time to put swimming in waterfalls and a very pleasant climate.
The place is just amazing. You MUST visit.
Here, I found strange buildings designed by Scotsman James Edward over the span 30 years (from 1954 until his death in 1984) The buildings in the jungle area are known as the Seven Snakes, Hands, Divine Eye, and Stairway to Heaven, among others. It is in an area filled with waterfalls and pools, so you can take a nice dip if you get hot.
