Everything is green! Green banana trees

Here you’ll find another one of the many unbeatable views found on La Palma: the Las Hoyas viewpoint, in Tazacorte.

The truth is, I was quite surprised because I didn’t think that an island could have so much green in its scenery. The strong green presence color comes from the banana trees coupled with the sea, the orange trees, and the turquoise-colored sky during sunset. They all combine to make this place something truly beautiful and worth seeing.

I 100% recommend you visit Tazacorte and its port, which has historic ancestral houses dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries, as well as the banana and mojo museums. You’ll love it.

I don’t want to forget about the port and the fisherman neighborhood (fisherman from both the sea and from the fresh water Las Angustias gully area (an incredible place which is the main mouth of the Caldera de Taburiente).

And what am I’m going to tell you about the island’s climate that you don’t already know?.. It’s between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius (64 to 75 F) year round, and the sun shines for an average of 3,500 hours per year.

A beautiful stop. Incredible views and landscapes can be seen from the viewpoint.
