Las Angustias Gardens

Estos jardines se encuentran al final de la [poi=67831]Alameda de los Cantones o Suances[/poi], y conforman la Plaza de las Angustias, límite entre dos de los barrios más emblemáticos de Ferrol: Es el final del barrio de la Magdalena y el comienzo del barrio de Esteiro. Los jardines fueron proyectados por el ingeniero naval Andrés Commerma. Además de la arboleda y sus magníficos magnolios, en estos jardines se erigen dos monumentos, dedicados a [poi=68659]Pablo Iglesias[/poi] y a [poi=68657]Victoriano Sánchez Barcáiztegui[/poi], respectivamente. Enfrente de esta plaza se encuentra también la [poi=68660]Iglesia de Ntra. Sra. De las Angustias[/poi].

These gardens are at the end of the Mall of the Cantons or Suances, and form the Plaza de las Angustias, the boundary between two of the most emblematic of Ferrol neighborhoods: The end of the district of Magdalena and the beginning of the district of Esteiro. The gardens were designed by the naval architect Andrés Commerma. In addition to the trees and magnificent magnolias, in gardens these two monuments dedicated to Pablo Iglesias and Victoriano Sánchez Barcáiztegui respectively erected. Opposite this square is also the Church of Ntra. Sra. De Sorrows.
