Founded in 2000
The Daros-Latin America museum was founded in 2000 and has the most significant collection of Central and South American art in Europe, it also has temporary exhibitions throughout the year. Its main purpose is to communicate how European culture progressed and the evolution of various artistic currents in Latin America, unknown in origin. There's also a portion that focuses exclusively on art of the United States (from the second half of the twentieth century). The most prominent are abstract expressionist works by creators of the New York art scene of the 80s.
