Largo Frei Pedro

If there is something that has always amazed me about Portugal is how well they care for their gardens filling them with colorful flowers, and perfectly manicured geometric hedges ... These gardens are located in Largo Frei Pedro, and form a pleasant square to walk in or sit for a while on one of its benches. In the center is the Monument to Francisco dos Prazeres. The square is bounded on one side by a wall, on which stands the little Chapel of St. Peter and the Torre dos Ferreiros. Opposite the wall, is the Bishop's Palace (now the city museum).
