Welcoming and well placed
Overnight accommodation in London for me is always a dilemma. The hostels are expensive and of poor quality (although some have charm) while the hotels are often even more expensive. The Lancaster Gate Hotel (three stars, but higher than the average level) offers a good value for your money: good location (along Hyde Park), clean and comfortable rooms, big breakfast (if included), wi-fi, computer terminals and underground (Central Line) five minutes away. Perhaps the hotel has a great personality, but it is a good solution if you have to sleep in this London area.
