Tasty, quality Filipino/Mediterranean cuisine in Los Angeles
Enjoy Filipino and Mediterranean cuisine at this new Los Angeles eatery. Lala’s Kitchen offers a menu of quality entrees including Filipino staples like longanisa and tapa, and chicken and beef kabob bowls. Among its must-try dishes are the pork belly adobo. (I hear the baked spaghetti is pretty good, too!) Amazingly, all the items are priced at about $6.99. So far, nothing costs more than $10. In addition to quality you can taste in the flavor and perfect meat texture, a big draw to Lala’s is that it offers a pressure-free atmosphere where customers will easily feel at home. While there are dining tables, there are two two-person couches and a television (so you can watch TV while eating, as if you were at home).
Also, the owners genuinely don’t mind if you come in at night for to grab something to eat wearing pajamas. Lala’s recently introduced Vietnamese coffee that’s ridiculously addicting, so that’s worth a try (or several tries) as well! Free parking is available in a lot behind the restaurant, and also on the street. Highly recommended for those looking for affordable eats and good quality food!
