Lake Taal

El lago Taal, situado en Batangas, muy cerca de Manila, es conocido por albergar en su interior algunas islas resultadas de las erupciones volcánicas que también originaron el propio lago miles de años atrás. Es el mayor lago del mundo dentro de una isla, la de Luzón, y se puede visitar desde la capital filipina como un viaje de un día. Lo común es llegar hasta la localidad de Tagaytay en bus y después cruzar el lago en barco hasta alcanzar la isla en la que se encuentra el volcán Taal para alcanzar su cráter.
