Atascadero Lake Park

In Atascadero, you can walk in a beautiful park. There is a lake where you can hire a pedalo, a small playground for children, public barbecues (a real American passion) and above all, squirrels, full full full of squirrels! There is also a zoo (paid entry) and various species of birds :) Small note: the park, like many other places in California, is non-smoking even when you're outdoors ... a bit frustrating but hey, you get used to it.
