Scenic Drive along the Great Lake Erie
Pennsylvania Route 5 continues West from New York State Route 5, the road hugs the lake continuously for hundreds of miles, providing some incredible scenery. Bored of the I-90 we jumped on Route 5 (also known as the Seaway Trail or Lake Road) and were glad we did, you travel through some great small towns and communities - which, if you have the time, is a much better way to travel. We visited in March and the lake was still frozen over providing some pretty great sunsets. I recommend travelling this route if your in the area, taking the time to stop off regularly to check out the amazing lake
Views.
