Lago Namtso

Salimos de Lhasa, para recorrer la meseta tibetana rodeada de cumbres asombrosas, como el poderosos macizo del Monte Nojin 7.191 mt. El primer lugar en que paramos fue entorno al "Lago salado de Namtso" que significa "el lago del cielo" muy descriptivo al estar tan cerca a 4.718 mt, del cielo tan azul. Un lago salado cristalino el más alto del mundo, entre los pastizales de la Cordillera coronada por nieves perpetuas, una visión que impresiona tanto por su agreste geología como por su belleza. Pero también impresiona si cabe aun más, la felicidad que irradian los rostros de su gente de estos pastores de yak, nómadas con sus rostros curtidos portadores de turquesas sin pulir, como su historia tal vez, cabalgando al viento, como sus banderines de oraciones. Cerca de Lhasa hay otro lago sagrado el Yamdrok hacía el sur, a unos 115 km. Desde cualquiera de estos lugares las cumbres son fantásticas y en su interior, sobre los islotes, eran donde se retiraban los peregrinos para su retiro espiritual. En su entorno también realizan la "Kora" por cantidad de peregrinos y turismo que nos sumamos, desde el montículo que rodea el lago Namtso.

We leave Lhasa, to cross the Tibetan plateau surrounded by amazing peaks, like the powerful massif of Mount Nojin 7.191 mt. The first place we stopped was around the "Salt Lake of Namtso" which means "the lake of the sky" very descriptive to be so close to 4,718 meters, of the blue sky. A crystalline salt lake the highest in the world, among the grasslands of the Cordillera crowned by perpetual snow, a vision that impresses both its rugged geology and its beauty. But it also impresses if it fits even more, the happiness that radiate the faces of their people from these yak shepherds, nomads with their tanned faces carrying unpolished turquoises, like their history perhaps, riding in the wind, like their pennants of prayers. Near Lhasa there is another sacred lake the Yamdrok to the south, about 115 km. From any of these places the peaks are fantastic and inside, on the islets, were where the pilgrims retired for their spiritual retreat. In their environment they also perform the "Kora" by number of pilgrims and tourism that we join, from the mound that surrounds Lake Namtso.
