Since the launch of the Colombian low-cost airline Live Avianca, flying in Colombia is often cheaper than taking a bus and makes for a nice way to visit the larger cities like Cartagena, Bogota, or Cali. Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport is the main airport serving Cali and is located approximately 45 minutes by taxi from the city center. You can also get there by bus, but it takes a little longer.
