The Stairs of Fouquet and Galipaud
The Fouquet and Galipaud stairs are behind the Casino, near the old port and the Fraiseraie. They are a set of small narrow streets that leave from the harbor and go to the top of the city where the church is. From the top of the stairs there is a magnificent view of the harbor. These streets are among the oldest in the city, and can be seen in old photographs. They are valued for their historical aspect and typicality of the time period in which they were built. The walls are covered with flowers. I suggest going for a walk there along the harbor and returning by way of the Noëveillard Beach. Or go after enjoying the Fraiseraie ice cream while enjoying a meal at one of the many restaurants located along the staircase.
