Lacanau Ocean

Lacanau Océan is a coastal village in the Aquitaine region, south of Bordeaux. It's a normal town, and the Lacanau Océan is the beach and leisure part of town. You'll find plenty of campsites to stay, where you can either put up your tent or rent a house with friends (6 or 8 people), prices are quite low, especially if you go out of season. You can walk around with your bike, there are bike lanes through the pine forest that almost reach the Basque country along the coast. It's a surfer's paradise, the waves are perfect, and there are several festivals and windsurfing throughout the summer in Lacanau and the surrounding towns.
