La Taberna

Located in a strategic location in Nerja, this restaurant stands out even among the many other in the street, for its colourful green chairs with hand-painted flowers, its white tablecloths, and its charming awning to shelter diners from the sun. It specialises in paella, and when we went they had paella for just €6. You can eat in either the air-conditioned lounge or out on the terrace. They serve tapas at the bar, and bring trays of assorted cured meats, tortilla, hams, ham, salad and more. Plus there have spicy potatoes, tuna, prawns pil pil, gazpacho, fried eggplant with honey, spaghetti carbonara, spaghetti bolognese, garlic bread, etc.
