La Statue Michaux

Au sein de de la ville basse de Bar le Duc, en région Lorraine, vous pourrez voir la statue Pierre et Ernest Michaux, située entre la rue Maginot et la rue du Bourg. Cette statue met en avant les inventeurs du vélocipède, Pierre Michaux né à Bar le Duc (autrefois appelée Bar en Ornain) en l'année 1813 et son fils Ernest. Vous verrez à cette occasion, la représentation d'un homme/enfant accompagné d'un vélo. L' inauguration du monument remonte à l'année 1894 et est située à la place d'une ancienne fontaine.
