Really unique place
There are several things I liked about this place right from the start. To begin with, the ampleness of the dining area; it looks like something out of a movie and even at the table your eye doesn't stop fixating on all the nice little details.
Next, the design; I'm a big design fan and I always pay attention to it in restaurants as it's a good sign of the care and importance that the restaurant puts into the entire dining experience. Everything from the silverware to the bathrooms were in perfect harmony, and it created the kind of experience which changes "let's go have lunch" to "let's go to La Solana."
And of course the food; the traditional classics are played with and modernized, but they never sacrifice the quality of the ingredients. Product comes first in making sublime cuisine and impeccable presentations.
