A great spot to eat
La Roue d'Or is a typical "brasserie" recommended by the Michelin Guide, located in the tourist center of Brussels, a few steps from the Grand Place. It has charming antique decor, with wooden benches, old cupboards, and large murals paying tribute to Magritte. The menu is wide and varied, with traditional Belgian dishes (of course, the famous "moules" - mussels - are prepared a thousand and one ways here). Some of the suggestions of the house are: Lyon sausage with lentils, braised rabbit with mustard and tarragon (I had a chance to try and it was delicious), asparagus risotto with crab. If you want to enjoy typical Belgian cuisine, this is the best spot for it and it's not too expensive.
