Rampe Major

Rampe Major

All roads lead to Rome, daprs adage! It is a little even with the Rock of the Principality of Monaco, as several dissmins access around in LAscension allow. But the most famous of them nevertheless remains the Rampe Major. Aisment recognizable, this is a medieval building, with a paved path, climbing on the rock, giving it Vauban citadel-like. We love this atmosphere a little out of time and the very well preserved buildings.

On the hill between the glamor of the Grand Casino area and the coast, the walled area rises where you can find the Palace of the Grimaldi Family, which can only be visited for a small fee. You can see the change of guard that is done every 30 "with all its choreography and you can walk through the narrow streets full of restaurants, souvenir shops and charming corners. The prices are the same as those found in the adjacent streets before the climb. Even cheaper.
