La Posada Hotel
Originally built for rail passengers of Arts and Crafts, this hotel is located near Route 66 and is located in what is known as "the stop-gap town". The guest rooms, named after former guests like John Wayne "are comfortable, but not fancy". With a menu that offers local southwestern cuisine of the Navajo and Hopi peoples, the Turquoise Room is "an oasis in the desert" and "the staff are hands-on".
