La Paloma

La Paloma, 28 kilometres from the city of Rocha, is a seaside resort on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, east of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay. It offers beautiful scenery, and is close to other tourist spots in the area which allows visitors to explore the coast and historical places (Fortress of Santa Teresa, Fuerte San Miguel). There are palm trees, mountains, Indian cerritos, and much more. There are hotels, cottages immersed in pine forests, campgrounds, and private homes making it accessible to all budgets. The same goes for food, which is available by classic menus or fast food or featured restaurants.
