La Nef

La Nef, whose name means the ship, is the new place for cultural events in Dijon. At first, it was a church, Saint Etienne, which was until 2007 the chamber of commerce. Now you can find a library for adults, some services of the Museum of Fine arts, entertainment and culture. It is a place that organizes a ton of activities and even if there isn´t one going on, it´s interesting to go in and see how they reformed the religious building from the XI century that hadn´t been used since the French Revolution. During the revolution, Catholicism wasn´t allowed for some years starting in 1793, so the church was of no use.
