Located in the heart of Montmartre, this restaurant is not new: Old Rectory, it was founded in 1793 by Catherine Lemoine and later frequented by Danton and his followers. The setting is idyllic and warm and very typical decor (gingham tablecloths, rustic tables ...). However, prices remain high (although there is a menu at 12 euros). I recommend going to this restaurant not for the quality of the food but the atmosphere full of history and artistic atmosphere. To try again, although this is a fairly touristy place. Anecdote: The word "bistro" comes from the place where, during the Russian occupation of Paris (1814-1818), the Cossack soldiers were not allowed to drink and went to the restaurant asking for alcohol "bistro" (which means "fast" in Russian) for fear of being surprised by their superiors.

The restaurant has a warm atmosphere and very traditional decoration looks like a bistro. The hotel offers an authentic and delicious cuisine prepared with care. Allow between 25 and 50 euros per person (menu from 16 euros).
