Tapas time in Haro!

The locals say that have their own version of Logroño’s famous Laurel street and they’re right: I can’t stop going!

The various streets which connect Santo Tomás, the Plaza de la Iglesia, San Martin, and Bilbao form a “herradura” (horseshoe) shape were you’ll find the highest concentration of tapas bars in Haro.

As is typical in the region, each bar has its own specialty, so the best bet is to go trying things little by little, or ask the locals for their recommendations.

Wine and tapas

The “Herradura” area is comprised of Haro’s most renowned streets for tapas and wine. In this maze of winding streets you’ll find wineries, bars, restaurants, and food halls, but be careful if you plan on driving afterwards.

It’s a fun foodie area in the heart of Haro, with little squares, authentic restaurants, and great people for a conversation and another round of wine and tapas.
