La Ducasse

"The Ducasse" is a traditional restaurant in northern France. It is located in the city center of Lille on Solferino Street, which is more famous for its bars than its restaurants! But after 30 years, the Ducasse is still offering its typical regional cuisine. There are some names that are difficult to understand on the menu, even for a native French speaker! There is a particularly famous cheese tart called Maroilles, or Potjevleesh, a Flemish specialty. The food is simple and good - the Ducasse does the cooking "à la bonne franquette". The cuisine isn't the only authentic thing, the restaurant dining room is, too! The décor is a friendship invitation, and the client feels immediately comfortable.
