A Feast of Delicacies
We were lucky that when we rented the villa, the wonderful hostess, apart from offering the rental car at a great price, included the possibility of having a private cook come with his assistant to the villa for a reasonable price (about 20 € per person). They presented us a feast of tasty and elegant dishes from the Balinese cuisine. We started with a delicate chicken vegetable soup and a delicious vegetable salad, kebabs with seasoned minced meat accompanied by a peanut and coconut sauce, aromatic and smooth rice, rice crackers and vegetable rolls, meat with a roasted pepper cilantro and garlic sauce, acar (pickled vegetables), and pickled soft tuna, and it ended with a delicious and heavenly black rice in coconut sauce, not to mention the delicious fresh fruit cut in filigree.
